M U Khan has an extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. They started their career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Tata Motors in 1991 before moving to HCL Technologies as an HR Manager in 1995. From there, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Computer Sciences Corporation from 1997 to 1999. Following that, they joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as a Sr. HR Manager, where they had complete responsibility for Human Resources for the PLM division in India. They also managed recruitment, compensation, talent mobility, and statutory compliances for the South Asia Pacific region.
In 2003, M U Khan joined GE Capital International Services (Now GENPACT) as an HR Leader for one year before transitioning to Aon Hewitt in 2004. At Aon Hewitt, they served as a Vice President of HR, overseeing the growth of the company's outsourcing business in India. They reported to the Head of Global HR (Outsourcing) and worked closely with senior business leaders.
In 2009, M U Khan joined Global Cloud Xchange and held multiple HR roles. They started as the Vice President of HR for India and APAC before taking on the role of VP of Global Human Resources in 2013. They later became the Executive VP of Human Resources for India, APAC, and EMEA. In these positions, they aligned HR strategy to business needs, deployed various talent acquisition, engagement, and retention programs, and managed HR manpower budgets.
Currently, M U Khan serves as the Global Head of Human Resources at Global Cloud Xchange, a position they have held since 2020.
M U Khan pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell between 1987 and 1991. Later, they completed their Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources, from XLRI Jamshedpur from 1993 to 1995.
