Darren Argyle FCIIS is a highly experienced professional with a career spanning over 20 years. Darren started their career in 2000 at IBM, where they held various roles such as Global Cyber Security Executive, Head of Information Security, and Security Advisor. In 2013, they moved to Symantec, where they held the role of Head of Information Security and Technology. In 2014, they joined IHS Markit as Group Chief Information Security Officer, and in 2015 they became a Start Up Board Advisor for OutThink. In 2016, they joined Qantas as Group Chief Information Security Officer, and in 2018 they became the Group Chief Information Security Officer at icare NSW and Co-Founder and Chairman of Cyber Resilience. Additionally, they are Co-Founder and Board Chairman of the Cyber Leadership Institute, and an Ambassador for the Global Cyber Alliance.

Darren Argyle's education history includes a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2000, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in 2004, a Certified Information Security Manager from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in 2004, a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Business Practitioner from the International Trainers Academy of NLP in 2006-2007, and a Cyber Leadership Program from the Cyber Leadership Institute in 2018. Additionally, Darren Argyle has obtained or is in the process of obtaining a MAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2022, a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate from the NeuroLeadership Institute in 2022, a Cyber Leadership Program Leader from the Cyber Leadership Institute in 2018, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2004, a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2004, and a Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) Fellow from the Chartered Institute of Information Security in 2022.
