Global Designing Cities Initiative
Abhimanyu Prakash is an accomplished urban designer and architect with extensive experience in both regional leadership and project management. Currently serving as the Regional Lead for Asia and Africa at the Global Designing Cities Initiative since March 2015, Abhimanyu also holds the position of CEO and Director at AlCircle Pte Ltd since January 2017. Previous roles include Project Manager and Urban Designer at Asia Initiatives and The Cha Project, as well as Jr. Urban Designer and Architect at Urban Matrix. Abhimanyu has contributed to academia as Associate Faculty in Urban Design at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Abhimanyu's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Sushant School of Art and Architecture. Abhimanyu's professional background encompasses architecture, urban design, research, and publications.
