Margaret Nyambura

Margaret Nyambura is a seasoned professional in the field of ICT and digital development, currently serving as a Senior Research Manager at the Global Digital Inclusion Partnership since May 2023. As a Director and Founding Member of the Network of African Women in Cybersecurity since September 2021, Margaret plays a significant leadership role in advancing cybersecurity initiatives. With extensive experience that includes positions as a Senior ICT Regulatory and Internet Governance Expert at GFA Consulting Group GmbH, a member of the Communications and Multimedia Appeals Tribunal for the Kenyan Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies, and a Digital Development Specialist at The World Bank, Margaret has contributed valuable expertise to various organizations. Academic contributions include part-time lecturer roles at the University of Nairobi and Tshwane University of Technology. Margaret holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Nairobi, along with certifications in Cyber Diplomacy and Internet Governance.
