German/French Translator Veteran Health Administration (VHA) Office of Community Care at Global Dimensions, LLC

Adje Akovi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2003, Akovi worked as a Werkstudent at IMO Oberflächentechnik GmbH, and in 2005, as a Werkstudent at Eaton. From 2006 to 2010, Akovi held the role of Machine Operator at MAHLE.

In 2011, Akovi joined ScentAir as an R&D Engineering Technician, where they contributed to new product development and assisted engineers in design, development, testing, and manufacture of scent products. This role lasted until 2017.

From 2012 to 2018, Akovi worked as a German/French Translator for Customs and Border Protection at Charlotte International Airport, ensuring effective communication with travelers.

In 2018, Akovi joined Global Dimensions, LLC as a German/French Translator for the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) Office of Community Care, providing translations of billing and medical reports for the U.S. Veteran Affairs Department. At the same time, they also joined STIWA Group as an MES Applications Engineer, specializing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Currently, Akovi holds the position of Head of Manufacturing Software (MES) at STIWA US Inc., a role they assumed in 2021.

Adje Akovi, LSSGB, has a strong educational background in electrical engineering. Adje began their education in 1998 at Goethe Institut in Lome, where they obtained a Zertifikat Deutsch in German Language and Literature. In 2002, Adje Akovi took the German Language Proficiency Test for the Admission to Higher Education at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, as part of their Studienkolleg in German language studies. From 2003 to 2007, they pursued their undergraduate studies at KIT, obtaining a Diplom in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Adje Akovi continued their education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2013 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2018, they obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Six Sigma Global Institute.
