Mack Mason is a project engineer at Global Diving & Salvage. Previously, Mack worked as a senior mechanical engineer at The Lane Construction Corporation, where they assisted in the launch of an 18' diameter EPB TBM on a $250m tunneling project. Mack also oversaw the acquisition and assembly of the TBM support systems, which included a grout plant, hyperbaric system, gantry cranes, rolling stock, rail, tunnel utilities and TBM launch equipment. Before working at The Lane Construction Corporation, Mack was an outfitting design engineering co-op at Philly Shipyard, Inc. (formerly Aker Philadelphia Shipyard), where they performed field inspections to ensure that outfitting components were installed correctly throughout all components of the vessel. Additionally, Mack reviewed drawings supplied by design partner looking for any part interferences and manufacturing limits. Lastly, Mack generated design change notifications on behalf of the vessels owner as well work packages and templates to be supplied to the manufacturing team ensuring accuracy and consistency in work. Mack also prepared documents for ship delivery which were inspected by the appropriate regulatory body.
