Jelle ten Kate is a seasoned production engineer currently employed at Global Factories since May 2022, focusing on ensuring the success of production and assembly processes while managing the transition from development to production. Prior to this, Jelle served as Team Lead Additive Manufacturing at FMI from February 2017 to April 2022, where responsibilities included continuous series production and business development for additive manufacturing projects. Jelle's engineering experience encompasses roles such as Project Engineer and Production & Project Engineer in additive manufacturing and mechanical engineering positions at Delft Prosthetics BV, Team Eva, and various other organizations. Jelle holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Bio Mechanical Design from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Werktuigbouwkunde from the same institution. Additionally, Jelle has contributed to professional communities as a board member of “personeelsvereniging” and as a member of FMI Young Professionals from 2019 to 2022.
