Kimberly Vosburgh

Director, Communications at Global Fishing Watch

Kimberly supports Global Fishing Watch’s communications and outreach efforts, bringing together strategy development, policy communications, and media outreach to help enhance programmatic goals and engage key audiences. Before joining Global Fishing Watch, Kimberly served as a communications manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts, leading strategy and implementation for various campaigns under the international environment portfolio with a specific focus on illegal fishing and marine protection. Kimberly also held positions at World Wildlife Fund, supporting advocacy efforts in ocean and wildlife conservation, and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where she conducted research to help promote security in the East Asia region.

In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys hiking, dabbling in the culinary arts, and traveling off the beaten path.

Kimberly holds a master’s degree in international relations from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from the University at Albany.
