Irene Kaushansky

Irene Kaushansky, CFCM, currently serves as the Senior Director of Integrity and Compliance at the Global Fund for Women, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Irene was the Integrity and Compliance Director at Project HOPE from June 2022 to November 2023. Irene's extensive experience includes positions at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery as Associate Director for Compliance and Operational Integrity and Senior Manager for Compliance and Operational Integrity, and as Compliance Manager and Grants and Contracts Administrator at ICMA. Additional roles include Senior Associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, Co-Chair of the SEA Sub-Working Group at InterAction, and Associate Compliance Officer at International Relief and Development. Irene began a professional career as a Paralegal at Finkelstein Thompson LLP and has also worked as a Research Analyst and Research Assistant. Irene holds a Master's Degree in International Communication and dual Bachelor's Degrees in History and International Relations, all from American University.
