Arun Kashyap

Arun Kashyap is a seasoned development expert with extensive experience spanning over three decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Adviser at Global Futures Group since December 2019 and as CEO of KASHYAP DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES since January 2016, Arun focuses on capacity development and integrated services while promoting environmental integrity and good governance. Previously, Arun held key positions with the United Nations, including UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, where leadership involved coordinating initiatives across 21 UN agencies to support national development priorities. Arun's early career includes impactful roles at UNDP Maldives, the Rockefeller Foundation, and CABI, alongside academic contributions as a professor at Chaminade University and the University of Hawaii. Arun holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
