Kaitlyn Swagerty has accumulated a diverse range of work experience in event planning, marketing, and coordination roles. Kaitlyn began their career as a Junior Publicist and Event Planner at Gai Klass Events & PR in 2004, where they assisted with event design, setup, and client appointments. Kaitlyn also had a role in coordinating a celebrity wedding for Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner.
In 2006, Kaitlyn worked as the Events and PR Director at Project Nightlight, where they were responsible for planning and executing events. Kaitlyn continued to work in event production and promotion as the Event Director for RAW:natural born artists, where they planned and produced showcases for artists and interacted with the arts community in San Francisco.
Kaitlyn then transitioned to working at Level 4 PR, where they served as an Event Publicist and Lead Producer, representing and promoting music events, fashion lines, and lifestyle brands. During their time with Level 4 PR, they also worked as a Freelance/Contracted Event Director for RAW:natural born artists, responsible for planning, promoting, and producing showcases.
Kaitlyn gained experience in the retail and marketing industry as the US Director of Retail & Marketing for Skunkfunk Clothing. In this role, they oversaw multiple flagship stores, managed sales teams, and made informed seasonal buys based on sales and trend data.
Kaitlyn also worked as a Marketing and Event Coordinator for Mercer Street Salon, coordinating marketing and events for the salon.
In 2013, they joined ATX Brands, LLC as the Event Director of Entertainment & Media, where they coordinated and booked events for landmark venues in Austin, with a focus on media, fashion, art, and lifestyle partnerships. Kaitlyn later took on the role of Marketing Director at Chicago House, Upstairs on Trinity & Vinyl, overseeing marketing and booking for three Austin venues.
Kaitlyn then worked as a Marketing Event Coordinator for Benefit Cosmetics | LVMH, where they planned and executed a charity tour campaign, liaised with vendors, and managed logistics for multiple tour markets across the country.
Most recently, Kaitlyn has served as a Senior Producer at Sparks, a global event marketing agency, where they utilized their creative and strategic skills to create influential brand experiences for clients.
Currently, they hold the position of Creative Director at Global Gourmet Catering, a catering and event planning company in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, they focus on providing exquisite culinary experiences and attention to detail for clients.
Kaitlyn Swagerty obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design with an emphasis on Marketing & Events from California State University, Chico. Kaitlyn attended the university from 1998 to 2003.
