Simon Birtwistle is an experienced software developer and technical leader with a career spanning over three decades in the graphic and print technologies sector. Currently serving as a software developer at Global Graphics since March 2004, Simon plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of font and text technologies used in the majority of newspapers and magazines worldwide. As a partner at nemographic, Simon specializes in design and production across various media formats while also consulting on product design. Previously, as co-founder and technical director at Cerilica Limited, Simon developed the innovative Vantage application for the print industry. Additional experience includes technical consulting for Hasbro on a Play-doh toy system and partnership at Merseymart Newspapers, where Simon led the computerization of Liverpool's largest newspaper. A strong advocate for AGILE methodologies, Simon is recognized as a leading authority in graphic and print technologies.
