Nishant Bhardwaj

Nishant Bhardwaj is an experienced leader in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, currently serving as the Managing Director for Green Investment Services and Deputy Head of IPSD at the Global Green Growth Institute since August 2019. With prior roles including Energy Adviser at the Department for International Development and Senior Program Officer at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, Nishant has demonstrated expertise in policy advisory and program implementation related to energy sectors in India and across Asia. Nishant previously managed the Asia Pacific Carbon Fund and held senior positions at IT Power Group and Development Alternatives, contributing to significant projects in sustainable energy technologies and environmental management. Nishant holds an M. Tech in Energy and Environment Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Delhi University.
