William Best

William Best is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in high-stakes protective operations. Currently serving as the Director of the Special Operations Division at Global Guardian since May 2022, William previously held roles including Deputy Director within the same division. Prior to Global Guardian, William was Security Operations Director at Eagle Security Group and held multiple positions at Gavin de Becker & Associates, including Regional Director and Program Director. Notably, William served as a Security Specialist at the World Bank Group, overseeing close protection for the World Bank President. William's career also includes significant experience at the Central Intelligence Agency in High Threat Protection, roles at Gaithersburg Police as Sergeant and acting Lieutenant, and earlier positions in the U.S. Army as Military Police Team Leader. William holds a Master's degree in Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
