Carmen Washington, MPH, MSW, currently serves as the Associate Director of International Research at Global Health Advocacy Incubator, a position held since August 2018. Prior to this role, Carmen was the Research Program Manager at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Institute for Global Tobacco Control from July 2012 to August 2018. Additional experience includes serving as an Evaluation Specialist at the Institute for Health Research & Policy, a Research Assistant for Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention at Public Health – Seattle & King County, and roles at Health Leadership International and the University of Washington. Carmen holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MPH in Community Oriented Public Health Practice from the University of Washington, an MSW in Human Services Management from the University of Washington, and a BSW in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
