Matt Gembecki

Matt Gembecki has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different organizations. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Development Intern at Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation for a year, assisting with the development team's efforts in providing affordable housing.

In 2006, Gembecki became an International Study Abroad Advisor at Fordham University, where they helped students navigate their study abroad programs.

In 2007, they volunteered in El Salvador as an English language instructor and community advocate at the Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad. Matt completed a language immersion program in Spanish during this time.

From 2008 to 2015, Gembecki held multiple roles at Changing Our World, Inc., including Director and later Managing Director, contributing to the organization's mission of creating positive social change.

Currently, Gembecki serves as the Senior Director at Global Impact, a role they have held since 2018. As of 2021, they have been promoted to Managing Director for the organization, where they continue to make a significant impact.

Matt Gembecki received their Bachelor's degree in International Political Economy from Fordham University in 2006. Matt then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University from 2006 to 2008. In 2005, they also briefly studied at Loyola University Chicago's John Felice Rome Center, although the specific field of study is not provided.
