Mike Bowles

Mike "Bo" Bowles is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for GIAC Certifications since August 2021, Bowles previously held significant positions at Global Medical Response, including Director of Cyber Security Operations and Cybersecurity Manager for Security Architecture & Engineering. At Boston Government Services, Bowles was a Cybersecurity Manager for the Security Operations Center, focusing on designing SOC capabilities and improving incident response. Early career roles included Senior Network Security Analyst at Clayton Homes, Operating Systems Engineer at Wells Fargo, and multiple positions in the United States Air Force, where Bowles led cyber threat intelligence teams and managed network security. Bowles holds a Graduate Certificate in Industrial Control Systems Security from the SANS Technology Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security from Bellevue University.
