Mike Nixon

Mike Nixon, CFA, currently serves as a Principal at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) since October 2024. Previously, Mike held various roles at BlackRock from September 2018 to October 2024, including Director and Vice President within the Infrastructure Debt Group, focusing on infrastructure debt investments in western Europe. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager for Complex & IIB Lending Services at ANZ, managing distressed credits for institutional and commercial clients in New Zealand and Australia from April 2014 to May 2018. Mike also worked as an Associate and Relationship Services Manager at ANZ, and gained initial experience as a Media Buyer at DraftFCB New Zealand and a Sales Striker at Red Bull. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Otago.
