Ana Castro is an experienced professional in the fields of anti-corruption and transparency, currently serving as the Resilience Fund Manager at the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime since January 2019. In this role, Ana has contributed to various projects, including building coalitions against extortion in Central America and the OCIndex. Prior experience includes serving as an Anticorruption Consultant for the Consejo Nacional de Rectores and a Regional Program Officer at the National Democratic Institute, where Ana coordinated multiple regional projects aimed at improving public integrity and citizen security. Ana's background also features roles as a Legal Advisor and Technical Consultant, as well as expertise in monitoring and evaluation systems. Ana holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
