Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime
Dr. Victoria Herrington is a distinguished academic and expert in criminal justice and police management. Currently serving as an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, Dr. Herrington has extensive experience in leadership roles, including Director of Knowledge and Director of Research and Learning at the Australian Institute of Police Management since 2011. Additional positions include Network Expert at the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, International Advisory Committee Member at the Scottish Institute for Police Research, and Advisory Board Member at the Centre for Law Enforcement and Public Health. Dr. Herrington was Head Tutor (Emeritus) and Teaching Fellow in Strategic Innovation at the University of Oxford from 2022 to 2024, and held an Adjunct Professorship at Western Sydney University. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Laws from King's College London, and advanced degrees in Criminal Justice Studies and Psychology from the University of Portsmouth.
