Tony Chamberlain

Dr Tony Chamberlain commenced as Project Director at Global Lithium in December 2022. He is responsible for managing the feasibility studies, early works and development of the Manna and Marble Bar Projects.

Dr Chamberlain holds a PhD in metallurgy and is an experienced mining executive with over 25 years’ experience in the resources industry. Tony brings a wealth of knowledge in the full project cycle from resource optimisation, engineering, approvals, project development and operational phases. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Director at Vimy Resources where he advanced the Mulga Rock Uranium Project from concept to “mine ready status” within four years. Prior to that he was the Project Director and COO at BCI Minerals, where he completed the Bankable Feasibility Study and commencement of construction for the Mardie Salt and Potash Project. Tony has held senior operational and management roles within BHP and WMC Resources and over the last decade has held senior executive roles in the junior ASX resource sector.
