Eirik Midttun

Eirik Midttun is an experienced Operations Manager at Global Maritime, responsible for overseeing the Abu Dhabi operation since September 2005. Throughout a progressive career at the same organization, Eirik has held key roles including Senior Technical Lead, Principal Naval Architect, Senior Naval Architect, and Senior Projects Engineer, with a focus on delivering high-quality Engineering and Marine Warranty Surveying services. Eirik's expertise extends to managing projects from tendering to invoicing and enhancing subsea flexible installation engineering capabilities. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Engineer in Marine Engineering, where Eirik provided Marine Warranty Services for various marine operations, and as an Engineering Analyst, contributing to hydrodynamic and structural analyses. Eirik also gained early experience as a software programmer during a student placement at Rolls-Royce. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, along with exchange studies at The University of British Columbia and the Indian Institute of Science.
