Alfonzo Leon is the current Chief Investment Officer at Global Medical REIT. Alfonzo has over fifteen years of experience in the real estate industry, with a focus on healthcare real estate transactions.

Alfonzo began their career as an Associate at LaSalle Investment Management in January 2000. Alfonzo was quickly promoted to Senior Vice President at Cain Brothers in April 2005, where they were an integral part of the real estate investment banking team. During their time at Cain Brothers, Alfonzo completed $5B in health care real estate transactions and 27 closings which contained 160 properties with a total of 9.1 million square feet and a combined total valuation of $2.2B.

In August 2014, Alfonzo was recruited by Global Medical REIT to serve as their Chief Investment Officer. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company's investment activities and strategies. Under their leadership, Global Medical REIT has become one of the leading healthcare real estate investment firms in the country.

Alfonzo Leon's educational career began with a focus on management and leadership at Harvard Business School Online. Alfonzo then went on to earn their master's degree in real estate development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, they completed their education with a degree in architecture from the University of Virginia.
