Naveen Balla

Naveen Balla has worked as a Lead Azure Data Engineer at Global Music Rights since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Lead Data Engineer at Mastercard from 2020 to 2023, where they designed and built the company's Data Cleansing solution using Azure and Snowflake. Naveen also replaced a Java based ETL with Azure Data Factory. Before that, Naveen was a Senior Data Engineer at Acosta from 2019 to 2020, where they migrated an old SQL Server based data warehouse to a serverless cloud data warehouse using Azure PaaS technologies. Naveen also built Azure DevOps CICD pipelines for code deployment. Additionally, Naveen worked as a Data Architect at Management Science Associates, Inc. from 2017 to 2018, where they designed ETL pipelines and developed Data Warehousing databases for manufacturing giants. Naveen also worked as a Tech Lead, Data Services at Altisource from 2010 to 2017, where they developed SSIS ETL processes and designed data models for enterprise data warehouse and OLTP applications.

Naveen Balla has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. In terms of certifications, Naveen has completed the following: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert from Microsoft in November 2019, Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies from Microsoft in October 2019, and Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Developer from Microsoft in January 2019.
