Mahesh Ramanujam

Mahesh Ramanujam currently serves as the President and CEO of the Global Network for Zero, leading initiatives to advance ESG compliance and the transition to a zero emissions world since December 2021. Prior to this role, Mahesh held multiple key positions at the U.S. Green Building Council, including President and Chief Executive Officer, where responsibility included overseeing organizational performance and strategic execution from May 2009 to October 2021. Additional leadership experience encompasses roles at Green Business Certification, Inc. as President and CEO, and at GRESB and the International WELL Building Institute as a board member and advisory council member, respectively. Mahesh's career also includes significant roles in technology and operations at companies such as Emergys Corp, Lenovo, IBM, and Dynpro Inc. Mahesh earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Annamalai University between 1989 and 1993.
