Carolyn Jarvis

Chief Investigative Correspondent at Global News

Carolyn Jarvis has an extensive work experience in the field of journalism. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Weather Presenter for The Weather Network. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Reporter and Anchor for RDTV (CHCA). Following that, they joined Global Edmonton as a Reporter and Anchor from 2005 to 2008. In the same year, they became part of Global National as an Anchor and Correspondent until 2011. During this time, they also hosted the national political show, Focus: Decision Canada, for the 2011 Federal election. In 2008, they took on the role of Chief Correspondent and Host for 16x9 ~ Global News, an award-winning current affairs show, and held this position until 2016. Currently, they are working as the Chief Investigative Correspondent for Global News.

Carolyn Jarvis completed their Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the Vancouver Academy Of Music in the years 1997 to 2001. Carolyn then pursued Journalism at Ryerson University from 2003 to 2004. Lastly, in 2014, they studied Investigative Journalism at Columbia University.
