Paul Turnbull is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as Master/OIM on the Drillship Fatih at Global Offshore Engineering since April 2019. With a diverse background in offshore operations, Paul held the position of Chief Mate at Caspian Drilling Company Ltd. from March 2018 to April 2019, and previously worked as SDPO on the monohull floatel vessel "Safe Swift" with Prosafe. Paul's extensive experience includes various DPO roles with Dolphin Drilling and Helix Well Ops, as well as significant operational contributions at BP and Maersk. Paul has achieved several educational qualifications in nautical science, including a Masters Unlimited from Glasgow Maritime Academy and a Chief Mates Unlimited from City of Glasgow College.
