Laura Frigenti

Laura Frigenti is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in international development and policy. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Global Partnership for Education since December 2022, Laura has held significant roles including Global Head of the IDAS Institute at KPMG US and a position on the Board of Eminent Advisers to the President at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). Previous experience includes leadership positions at The World Bank, where Laura directed strategies and operations for multiple regions, facilitated substantial loan agreements, and managed senior management teams. Laura's early career involved substantial engagements with the Italian Government and UN Economic Commission for Latin America & the Caribbean, focusing on social and infrastructure development projects. Laura earned a Laurea in Lettere e Filosofia from Sapienza Università di Roma, graduating with honors.
