Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is currently serving as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Global Partnership for Education. Matthew previously worked at KPMG UK as the UK Head of International Development Assistance Services (IDAS) and as a Principal Advisor. Prior to this, Matthew held various consulting roles at PKF Consulting Services LLP and served as an Economist and ODI Fellow at ODI. Matthew also has experience as a Senior Associate at PwC. Matthew holds a MSc in Quantitative Development Economics from the University of Warwick and a BA in Economics and International Studies from the same university. Matthew attended Millfield School and Bristol Cathedral Choir School for their earlier education.
