Marcela Falquez Méndez

Marcela Falquez Méndez has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Marcela worked at Global Partnerships as a Portfolio Director, where they managed relationships with partners in multiple countries and conducted investment analysis. Marcela also served as a Portfolio Officer, overseeing the Latin America Portfolio and managing partner relationships. At ID SOCIAL - Innovación y Desarrollo Social, Marcela co-founded the organization and served as Executive Director, leading projects and advising on social impact. Marcela also worked as an Entrepreneurship Mentor and Teacher at Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración. Marcela was a Board Member of ANDI - Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia and served on the Board of Directors for ANDI del Futuro. Marcela gained experience in technical and financial structuring at Fondo Adaptación and worked as a Commercial Director at HSBC. Marcela's work history also includes roles at Factor Group Colombia S.A. and Genesis Gestion de Fondos de Inversion, where they gained experience in project analysis, financial modeling, and investment banking support.

Marcela Falquez Méndez completed their education with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, which they pursued from 2006 to 2010. Afterward, they completed a Corporate Finance Specialist program at Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they attended Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha for a short period and received a Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist certification.
