Tracy Jones Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tracy began their career at Adecco Staffing, USA as an Analyst while attending graduate school. During this time, they collaborated with the Product and Marketing teams, supported digital media outlets, and tracked key performance indicators within the marketing department. Tracy also worked on the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save (CARS) Act of 2009 project.
Following their time at Adecco Staffing, Tracy joined Avaya Government Solutions as a Business Analyst/Project Manager. Here, they were responsible for performing full life-cycle project management and business analysis activities. Tracy translated business needs into functional and system requirements, developing an enterprise case management system for all District Courts throughout the U.S.
After Avaya Government Solutions, Tracy worked as an Independent Consultant, focusing on Technical Project Management. During this time, they provided project and release management support for operational readiness and process improvement projects across various organizational departments.
Tracy then joined Aquilent as an Associate Consultant. Tracy then moved on to Safe-Guard Products, where they worked as a Technical Project Manager Consultant. In this role, they provided project and release management support for operation readiness and process improvement projects across multiple departments.
Tracy's next career move was to Elavon, Inc., where they served as a Project Management Officer representing AGSI as a consultant. Tracy developed and rolled out a pilot program for a new portfolio optimization program aimed at driving cost savings through improved operational efficiencies.
After their time at Elavon, Tracy joined U.S. Bank's Enterprise Project Management Office. Initially working as part of the Program/Project Delivery Services team, they provided strategic insight and support in the creation of a new Portfolio Optimization program. Tracy successfully piloted the program to cross-functional development teams and implemented a resource optimization program that reduced spending.
Tracy was promoted within U.S. Bank to the role of AVP in the Program/Project Delivery Services team. Tracy became responsible for establishing and managing the Agile Support Office for global technology teams. Tracy'srole involved driving adoption of SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, Agile, and Scrum, while re-engineering business processes and ensuring compliance with banking policies. Tracy executed transformation initiatives, provided leadership and coaching, and developed program and team metrics for improvements.
Most recently, Tracy joined Global Payments Integrated as part of the Enterprise Transformation Management Office. Tracy provides internal consulting and support to Program/Project/Product Managers, aiding ongoing transformation initiatives. Tracy improves program visibility, manages program level processes, and continuously improves programs representing over $300M of investment to enhance the customer experience for the Merchant program.
Tracy Jones Johnston completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Wilmington University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the same university, attending from 2005 to 2007. Tracy has also attained additional certifications, including the SAFe 5.0 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they received in February 2020, and the SAFe Scrum Master certification, obtained in April 2018.
