Sushma Punuru

Sushma Punuru currently serves as the Global Chief Data Officer at Global Payments Inc. since March 2025 and is a member of the Board of Directors for Triangle Disability & Autism Services. In addition, Sushma holds a leadership role as Co-Chair of the Business Development Committee at T200 and is a Board of Advisors member for the North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH). Prior experience includes a significant tenure at MetLife from June 2003 to March 2025, where Sushma advanced through various senior leadership roles related to enterprise data engineering and analytics. Earlier experience includes developing pioneering SOA-based web applications at TEKsystems and working as an MCS Associate at PwC. Sushma earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal and a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
