Richard Walker

Richard Walker is an experienced consultant and board member with a notable career spanning over three decades in philanthropy and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Institute of Planners’ Planning Student Trust Fund, Walker is also a Partner and Senior Consultant at Global Philanthropic Inc. (Canada), where support for charities and non-profits is facilitated. As President and Senior Counsel of The Walker Resource Group, Walker leads a multi-disciplinary consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, philanthropy, and corporate engagement. Previous roles include serving as President and CEO of WorldSkills Canada and the Jubilee Auditorium, with significant contributions to community engagement and fundraising initiatives. Education includes a BSc in Geography from the University of Victoria and graduate studies in Marketing, Branding, and Non-Profits from the University of Cambridge.
