Currently serving as Partner and Senior Consultant at Global Philanthropic Canada Inc., Val brings a value-based perspective, exceptional diplomatic skills, and innovative problem-solving abilities. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Vice President of College Advancement at Bow Valley College, where Val led significant fundraising initiatives and strategic planning efforts, and as Associate Director of Development at the University of Alberta, contributing to a successful $193 million campaign. Early career experience with Cuso International involved leadership in recruitment and fundraising strategies in various international contexts. Val holds a Master's degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University and is a Certified Fundraising Executive.
