Mario Durnil is an incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets, set to start in May 2024, focusing on the Industrials Investment Banking sector. Currently an Analyst at Global Platinum Securities and at the Davis Center for Portfolio Management at the University of Dayton, Mario specializes in the Industrials, Energy, and Materials sectors. Mario is also a member of the University of Dayton Investment Banking Academy, and previous experience includes a Sales Associate position at Flyer Enterprises and an Outside Services Attendant role at Royal Melbourne Country Club. Mario served as Vice President and Associate at Advice Beyond the Classroom: Professional ABCs. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance at the University of Dayton, Mario's educational background includes graduating from Carmel Catholic High School in 2022.

Global Platinum Securities™ (GPS) is a unique intercollegiate student-run investment company that seeks to educate the next generation of investors by immersing them in the field of active investment management. Its student members hail from eight renowned universities across North America and Western Europe. Upon induction to the group students participate in a structured ten-week summer education program that exposes them to security selection, company and industry analysis, portfolio construction and valuation philosophies. Commensurate with our mantra of learning by doing, members are divided into eight industry sector groups and perform equity research under the leadership and guidance of fellow members and professional mentors. The group seeks capital preservation and income generation by employing a bottom-up, value oriented philosophy.
