Mitali Desai is a driven student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado Boulder, expected to graduate in May 2025. Mitali holds multiple leadership roles, including First-Year CA with the Presidents Leadership Class and President of the Leeds Consulting Group, where previous titles included Senior Analyst and VP of Membership. Mitali's professional experience includes serving as an Analyst at Global Platinum Securities, and internships as a Summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and a Junior Data Analyst Intern at TIFIN, where SQL and Python were used for customer segmentation analysis. Previous experiences also include a Youth Education Intern role with the International Rescue Committee and consultations with entrepreneurs in South Africa. Mitali's earlier involvement with the Colorado Youth Advisory Council focused on mental health initiatives, where significant policy proposals were communicated. Mitali received an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Cherokee Trail High School.

Global Platinum Securities™ (GPS) is a unique intercollegiate student-run investment company that seeks to educate the next generation of investors by immersing them in the field of active investment management. Its student members hail from eight renowned universities across North America and Western Europe. Upon induction to the group students participate in a structured ten-week summer education program that exposes them to security selection, company and industry analysis, portfolio construction and valuation philosophies. Commensurate with our mantra of learning by doing, members are divided into eight industry sector groups and perform equity research under the leadership and guidance of fellow members and professional mentors. The group seeks capital preservation and income generation by employing a bottom-up, value oriented philosophy.
