Li Zhehui is a Senior Patent Associate at Global Prior Art. Zhehui has a long history of academic and professional excellence in the field of chemistry. Zhehui first began their academic career at Boston College where they earned their degree in September 2013. They then went on to work as a research assistant in both the Tsung Group and Byers Group. While working in these groups, Zhehui was able to design synthetic methods for porous materials, engineer particle size, control growth on substrates, and functionalize surfaces. Zhehui's research also led them to develop a new encapsulation method called 'Aperture opening encapsulation'.
After Boston College, Zhehui worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Akron from September 2011 to May 2013. During this time, they participated in the Tufts New England Case Competition (TUNECC) from January 2018 to June 2018. Additionally, they served as a Board Member on the Northeastern Section Younger Chemists Committee (NSYCC) from August 2017 to June 2018.
