Emily is the Director of Events at GPCA and LAVCA, where she is responsible for planning and execution of the annual GPC Conference, GPCA Investors Meeting and LAVCA Week, overseeing the planning of both organizations’ domestic and global events.
Emily was previously the Senior Manager of Programs and Business Development at EMPEA before moving on to event management roles with Aflac Group Insurance and DECA Inc., an educational association comprised of 3,500 chapters representing over 200,000 student members, where she was responsible for planning and execution of annual conferences and conventions ranging from 500-20,000 attendees.
Emily has more than ten years of experience in planning successful events and managing stakeholder relationships. She is a graduate from the University of Miami where she received her bachelor’s degree in International Finance & Marketing.
