Donald McElligott

Donald McElligott has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Donald started their career in 1991 as a Network Consultant at MPL Systems, where they provided network consulting and support to large financial institutions. Donald then joined IDOM, Inc in 1996, where they served as the Director of IT and managed all aspects of the internal corporate technology infrastructure.

In 2005, McElligott joined Orchestria as a Senior Policy Consultant. Donald played a crucial role in major pre-sales engagements and performed installations as a Services Engineer. Donald was responsible for designing rules to implement corporate policies within electronic communications using Orchestria's APM software.

In 2009, McElligott became part of CA Technologies through the acquisition of Orchestria. Donald started as a Principal Software Engineer, managing the catalog of DLP policies and developing new policies. Later, they transitioned to the role of Principal Consultant, Technical Sales, where they served as the primary technical resource in the field for the security sales team.

Since 2014, McElligott has been with Global Relay as the VP of Compliance Supervision. Global Relay is a leading provider of cloud-based electronic message archiving, supervision, and eDiscovery solutions. McElligott oversees the delivery of services to a global customer base, including top financial institutions.

Throughout their career, McElligott has demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, technical sales, policy design, and network administration. Their experience spans various roles in highly regulated industries, including the financial sector.

Donald McElligott obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Farrell High School from 1982 to 1986. In terms of additional certifications, Donald obtained the following: VMware Certified Professional from VMware in February 2013, CISSP from ISC2 in December 2010, and MCSE from Microsoft in November 1998.
