Gord Harris

Gord Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gord is currently working at Global Relay as a Lead SDET - Natural Language Processing (NLP). Prior to this, they worked at xMatters, inc where they held multiple roles including Senior QA Engineer and Senior Developer in the Ahch-to team, as well as Software Development Team Lead and Senior Developer in the Hoth team. At Blast Radius, Gord served as a Senior Developer, and at WebCT and Kazootek.com, they held roles as a Senior Developer and Software Developer respectively. Throughout their career, Gord has demonstrated their expertise in Agile methodologies, quality assurance, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing technical solutions. Gord has also been involved in improving code quality, leading teams, and optimizing hiring processes.

Gord Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Victoria, completing their studies in 1997. Furthermore, they earned a certification in Occupational First Aid level 2 from St. John Ambulance BC/Yukon in June 2016.
