Nick MacKay

Nick Mackay has extensive experience in rope access and safety training, currently serving as a Rope Access Technician at Global Rope Access since September 2015. Previously, Nick was the Owner and Operations Director at Creek2Peak Rope Solutions Inc. from October 2012 to 2015, where expertise in rope access was further honed. Nick's background includes roles such as Patrol Trainer at Mount Seymour Resorts, focusing on rope rescue training and fall arrest, and Ski Patrol Supervisor, managing a team of 15 patrollers. Additional experience includes work as a Kayak Guide/Instructor at Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Centre. Education includes certifications as a SPRAT Level 2 and IRATA Level 1, obtained from the Canadian Rope Access Specialist programs, alongside a degree in Primary Care Paramedic from the Justice Institute.
