Chris Weeks has extensive experience in the field of aquaculture and program integrity, currently serving as Vice President of Program Integrity at Global Seafood Alliance since December 2017, after progressing from Director and Manager roles within the same department. This department focuses on quality assurance, technical support, and the ethical certification of responsible seafood production practices. Prior to this, Chris held positions at Michigan State University, including Aquaculture Extension Specialist, and accumulated valuable experience in strategic planning and sustainability in aquaculture. Chris also worked as an Aquaculture Consultant at Aquaculture Bioengineering Corp from 1996 to 2009. Academically, Chris holds a PhD in Fisheries with a focus on Aquaculture and Fish Nutrition, a Master of Science in Fisheries, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering.
