Karen Mortimer Cep

Karen Mortimer, CEP has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Karen has held various roles at Global Shares, starting from Systems Support Analyst in 2012. Karen then transitioned to Share Plan Analyst and later served as a SaaS Analyst, where they managed a portfolio of companies and interacted with clients on operational transactions. Karen then moved on to become an Implementation Manager, where they led the implementation of new clients onto Global Shares' software. Subsequently, they were promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager, Implementations, overseeing teams and developing strategies for client implementations. As Deputy Head of Implementations and later as VP & Deputy Head of Implementations, Karen managed teams and focused on streamlining client implementations and creating innovative solutions. Prior to their tenure at Global Shares, Karen worked as an Assistant Development Officer at West Cork Development Partnership, where they performed administrative duties and assisted with data system updates.

Karen Mortimer, CEP, has a strong educational background and relevant certifications. Karen obtained their CEP certification from Santa Clara University, Leavey School of Business. Karen also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Co-operative Organisation, Food Marketing, and Rural Development from University College Cork, which they completed in 2012. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Government from the same university in 2011.
