Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson is an experienced professional in customer service and technical support, currently serving as the Director of Customer Service at Global Shop Solutions since September 2011. In this role, Doug rebranded the Level 1 Service team to the "Customer Care" team, expanding its headcount significantly and improving the resolution rate on first customer contact from 65% to 90%. Previous roles at Global Shop Solutions include Tier-2 Service Manager, where Doug managed end-to-end operations and mentored a team of technical troubleshooters, and Tier-1 Support Service Manager, overseeing software support and handling a high volume of service tickets and calls. Prior to this, Doug served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant in Aviation Ordnance, gaining valuable skills in leadership and technical support. Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Sam Houston State University.
