Christophe Wartel is a seasoned professional in infrastructure and project finance, currently serving at Global Sovereign Advisory since November 2021. Prior to this, Christophe was a Partner at Philae Advisory from July 2019 to November 2021, focusing on strategic and financial advisory services in the African energy sector. Christophe's career includes a role as Senior Vice President in Financial Advisory at Lazard, where responsibilities encompassed advising corporates and governments on energy and infrastructure projects from August 2014 to December 2018. Between June 2006 and July 2014, Christophe worked at BNP Paribas as a Vice President in Structured Finance, dealing with energy and commodities across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the CIS. The professional journey began as an Analyst in the Country Head Executive Office at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po and another Master's in Finance from ESCP Business School, with additional studies at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
