Julien Dubertret currently serves as Managing Director at Global Sovereign Advisory, a firm dedicated to advising States and State-owned entities with a comprehensive approach to public sector challenges. Prior to this role, Julien Dubertret gained extensive experience at the International Monetary Fund as an expert, contributing to technical assistance missions from April 2017 to February 2023. Julien Dubertret also held various significant positions within the French government, including Inspector General of Finances and Budget Director. Additional roles encompassed advising on budgetary reform and public administration at the Prime Minister's Office and other ministries. An academic background includes a Master's degree in Law and Management of Public Finance, with studies at ENA, Sciences Po, and the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Prior banking experience includes serving as an Associate Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
