Matt Dodds

Matt Dodds is a highly experienced maritime operations subject matter expert and leader with over 25 years in the maritime sector, including significant roles in military and civil operations. As the founder of MLD Maritime Consultants since May 2023, Matt provides insight and innovation to businesses in the field. In addition, Matt serves as a Solutions Consultant at GSTS - Global Spatial Technology Solutions and previously held positions such as Training Systems Specialist at CAE and Military Advisor for the UAE Armed Forces, where expertise in maritime warfare and simulation training was applied. Matt's military background includes serving as a Warfare Officer and Officer In Charge of the Maritime Intelligence Fusion Centre in the Royal Navy, providing expertise in intelligence production and warfighting capabilities. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Birmingham.
