Mario Brossard

From the moment Mario helped his college roommate become the first African American President of the Student Assembly, Mario knew he wanted to continue working to help candidates win public office.

Mario’s practice at GSG has an emphasis on underserved communities of color. Mario has moderated hundreds of focus groups with people of color on topics including mobilizing the Black vote, protecting LGBTQ rights, protecting voting rights and mass incarceration. A graduate of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, with a master’s degree in Public Policy, Mario earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Dartmouth College.

When not pondering the issues of the day, Mario can either be found chasing high-flying pics somewhere in the Capitol region with his state-of-the-art collection of UAVs (drones), or searching for a good table at the best new restaurants in Washington D.C.
