Julisa Edwards

Julisa Edwards serves as General Counsel at Global Support and Development since April 2023, advising on legal matters and managing organizational legal risks. Previously, Julisa was the first General Counsel for Trout Unlimited from October 2020 to April 2023, focusing on ad-hoc legal risk management. Prior to that, Julisa held the role of General Counsel for the Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust, where responsibilities included board meeting management and legal advice on crisis and human resource issues. Julisa has also worked as Officer and Associate General Counsel at The Pew Charitable Trusts, Senior Attorney at The Nature Conservancy, and Legal Advisor at Conservation International. Early legal experience includes an externship with the Organization of American States and an associate position at Headrick. Julisa holds Master of Laws degrees in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School and Banking Finance from the University of London, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
