Michele Gran is the Co-founder and Senior Vice President at Global Volunteers. With extensive experience in public relations, communications, and marketing, Michele has worked for various organizations including the State of Minnesota and Paragon Advertising and Public Relations. Michele holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and an M.L.S. in International Communications from Hamline University.

Global Volunteers
Global Volunteers is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian, non-governmental organization engaging short-term volunteers on micro-economic and human development programs in close partnership with local people worldwide. Working at the invitation and under the direction of local leaders, volunteers help create a foundation for world peace through mutual international understanding. Since 1984, Global Volunteers has engaged over 35,000 volunteers around the world on a variety of projects, including teaching, childcare, medical, community development, and construction and renovation. Volunteers can choose to volunteer from one to three weeks in the following locations: China, the Cook Islands, Cuba, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Portugal, St. Lucia, Tanzania, USA, and Vietnam.
